Christmas Concert Information

It is a busy week in Grade 1 with a lot to remember!

Hot lunch orders are due on Wednesday

Christmas Concert Information
We have all busing permission forms handed in. This means that all students are able to be transported to Daystar Church and back to Willow Park School on Wednesday for our dress rehearsal, and on Thursday for the afternoon concert. Thank you for returning these promptly!

The address to Daystar Church is:
360 Gaetz Road, Leduc, Alberta- The corner of Rollyview Road & Gaetz Road (RR250)

Wednesday:
We will leave for Daystar Church as soon as we do attendance, so at about 8:40. It will be important to be on time! Please send a mess free snack (no crumbs, no utensils, no chance of smearing on nice new carpets!!!) for your child to eat while we are there. We will be back at the school for the afternoon.

Thursday afternoon:
Please send your child to school in their PJ Costumes on Thursday (slippers in backpack). We will have a modified schedule on Thursday, and will eat lunch before heading to Daystar Church. If you plan on attending the afternoon concert at 12:45, please note that you may not bring your child home from the church, they must return to the school with the rest of the students at the end of the concert. Students will be wearing their outdoor shoes to the church, and bringing along their indoor shoes. Slippers will be sent home with the students to bring back for the concert.

Thursday evening:
Concert begins at 7:00 pm. Students should arrive at 6:30 and report to their assigned waiting area. Parents should take their child’s outdoor footwear with them into the church. Students may bring books, small toys, games or electronics  to use while waiting. These should be labelled and in backpacks. They should also bring a water bottle. Parents MUST bring tickets for the evening performance. Grades K-3 students will be dismissed from the stage at the conclusion of the concert. This means that you must return to the waiting area at the end of the night to pick up your child's belongings.

As always, please let me know if you have any further questions or require additional information!
