What We're Up To This Week: Feb. 8-12
I hope that you enjoyed an extended weekend! We have a full week ahead!
We will be starting our patterning unit in math and will continue to focus on colour words and sight words during our literacy lessons. A new set of sight words will be sent home on Friday.
The Div. 1 team has decided to push the 100th Day of School celebration back until Thursday, Feb. 18th.
On Friday afternoon we will hand out valentines and play some valentine's day games. If you would like to send a Valentine's Day themed snack to share with the class please let me know!
Students may hand out Valentines on Friday afternoon. I will send home a list of student's names tomorrow. For extra printing practice this week, encourage your child to write their own names and practice writing the names of their classmates on their Valentines. I've noticed that they really enjoy writing each other's names!
